During the group exhibition Being Urban: Laboratoire pour l’art dans la ville, a ‘laboratory’ that aimed to reflect on the role of immaterial and interactive art in urban space through various projects, TMML launched TMMRadio. The project explored the boundaries of public space and could be read as a non-conformist type of exhibition: via a Brussels web radio, the project presented well-known, less well-known and rather unknown players from the broad field of the arts. These individuals were invited in groups of four to exchange views on a specific theme and select books from the library for further discussion. This was a new form of work for TMML, an exploration of a medium previously unknown to them. The foundation of the project was the library of ISELP, a wonderful collection with more than a thousand titles on art and theory. TMML invited dozens of guests for lively conversations among the bookshelves on art, architecture, the city and other topics. Books from the library could serve as guides to broach topics for the conversation. TMML posted the conversations online three times a week.
